Firework Moments

Hello friends,

Ever have those firework moments at your job? When it just kind of hits you how great your job really is and what you are doing means? If you answered no to that question then you've got to change something because everyone deserves to feel like they are conducting positive energy into the world. 

I get my occupational fulfillment through my daycare job. I spend 8.5 hours a day chasing after little munchkins. I admit that sometimes I get tired and frustrated and have a hard time seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Work is work for a reason. It's tough working with kids. They can be stubborn and reluctant to listen but every time I'm able to actually get through to a child, it's like a firework moment. 💥. To see their little eyes open with understanding and to watch them grow is one of the most rewarding feelings I've ever experienced. 

What I do is probably different from what you do but I believe that firework moments should follow people in their careers, regardless of what it is. You deserve to feel like what you do matters. 

If you are already in a job where you get these moments never forget how blessed you are to experience them. If you're on your way to a career you've sought-after, keep going and embrace the journey.  And lastly, if you are in a career that drains you I pray you have the courage to find a career that gives back to you as much as you give to it.
