Summer's Not Over Yet

Hey Summer Suns,

I hate seeing the end of August draw so near but on the upside there are tons of Autumn adventures awaiting us. Let's not get too ahead of ourselves. This post is kind of like your last minute summer bucket list. If you haven't done these things yet, well, you aren't doing summer right. Take note friends.

1. That Popsicle in my photo is the greatest pop I have ever stumbled across. It is not to be confused with a Firecracker Popsicle, no, we are not frozen treat amateurs here at AISFORASHLYN.  Try one of these bad boys and you will never go back to plain ole Popsicles.

2. Sunset/sunrise in a new place. I love the ocean and cannot explain how amazing it is watching the sun and its colors sparkle over those waves. You don't have to go to the ocean though to see the sun - that's a cool part about how the sun is everywhere. Watch it from a mountain, a farm, or a gas station. Just watch it and appreciate its beauty.

3. French Toast Donuts. Yes I said French Toast Donuts and I am making it into a proper noun because they are just that good. Treat the donut like bread and thank me later.

4. Midnight slushy run. Nothing says "true summer night" like the taste of a massive serving of frozen sugar and water. Plus gas stations are open late making it the perfect location for a late night stop.

5. Drive. Road trips are a fundamental part of being a young adult. Go out and see the world through your own eyes. Now, I know that being a young adult also makes it hard to spend money on grand adventures, that's why I recommend camping. It's dirt cheap (pun intended) and is a summertime classic.

6. Go to a concert. Concerts come in all shapes and sizes and I can assure you that cheap tickets do exist. Also, you do not need floor seats to be at a concert. You've never been a young person if you don't buy nose bleed seats. Check out your favorite artists, particularly the obscure ones for cheaper tickets and go sing and dance along.

I hope you have time to enjoy a few of my summertime favorites before Autumn catches up with us. Stay cool friends.

Love,
Ashlyn
